SHREVEPORT, La. – In the relentless pursuit of justice, Shreveport’s dedicated law enforcement has successfully captured a man suspected of a shooting that occurred last month, leaving one person injured and a community on edge.
The suspect, Lloyd Ivory, a 28-year-old individual, is now facing multiple charges, including attempted second-degree murder, illegal firearm use, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. These charges are connected to an incident that happened on September 18.
The incident brought law enforcement to the 3400 block of Illinois Avenue, where they found a man dealing with a gunshot wound to his lower body. Fortunately, the victim’s injuries, though serious, were not life-threatening, bringing relief to the community.
As detectives unraveled the details of the case, it was revealed that Lloyd Ivory was allegedly responsible for the shooting. He fled the scene, leaving behind unanswered questions and a wounded victim.
