A Monday morning stabbing incident on the Louisiana Tech campus has shocked the community, with four individuals injured in what appears to be a random act of violence, according to university spokesman Tom Soto.

The suspect has been identified as Louisiana Tech student Jacoby Johnson, currently undergoing medical treatment at Northern Louisiana Medical Center for injuries sustained during the incident. Among the victims, three are non-students, and one is a graduate student.

In response to the severity of the injuries, three victims were airlifted to a Shreveport hospital, while one, a graduate student, declined treatment. The latest update as of 11:40 a.m. reveals that one victim is in critical condition at NLMC, while the other two are in serious but stable condition.
